History

International Business Bank (IB bank) is the new name of Banque de l’Habitat du Burkina Faso (IB bank) since 2 October 2018.

It follows the capital increase to comply with BCEAO guidelines and the vision and ambition of investors to create a financial group with a view to participating in the economic and social development of Burkina Faso and Africa.

This new name is in line with the new vision of making it a modern commercial bank of international standing.

A public limited company with a board of directors, its activities cover the areas of investment banking and financing, as well as retail banking.

  • The investment and corporate banking division will provide solutions to companies' financing needs and will also be active in the financial markets.

  • The retail banking division will offer individuals innovative investment products and tailored financing solutions.

IB Bank offers its customers (both individuals and businesses) a wide range of accessible and convenient banking products and services that perfectly meet their needs, whether for everyday banking, secure investments, financing for operating and investment requirements, or international trade.
